Contributed to the development of an advanced tactical decision-making simulator to provide an interactive, computer-based training environment for U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents. The purpose of the simulator is to help develop agent's skills in situational awareness and appropriate use-of-force. Personally responsible for creating the semantic grammars and augmented transition networks for the natural language processing/artificial intelligence engine, written by Dr. Guinn, to allow trainees to interact with non-player virtual characters (NPCs) through natural spoken conversations.
